How many languages (technologies?) do we need to build a simple CRUD web application? Does anyone remember VAX-COBOL? It was a simple but powerful tool to code business applications. Today we need to master Java, SQL, XML, HTML , Javascript and HTTP just to build the most anemic app.
How much have we progressed ?
